All Pro Dad, the fatherhood program of Family First, and the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) are partnering with the NOMORE Foundation for the NOMORE Orphans Experience at Chets Creek Church (Google Maps) in Jacksonville on March 31, 2019. This public event will highlight the need for foster families.
With more than 143 million orphans in the world today, close to 500,000 children are in the U.S. foster care system and more than 4,600 of those children are in Florida.
Some of the greatest people I’ve ever met are adoptive or foster parents. Over the last 18 years my wife, Lauren, and I have adopted seven children. We can’t even express how much they have blessed us and enriched our lives.Tony Dungy, NFL Hall of Famer and All Pro Dad national spokesperson
The NOMORE Experience is designed to help people understand the heart of an orphan and what it feels like to be in foster care. Each gathering will feature live music, spoken word poetry, artists and heartfelt, personal stories.
This non-denominational event is free and open to the public.
We want every person who comes to the event, whether they are in college, retired, or any stage of life in between, to see how they can personally make a difference in the life of a child.Tami Kent, Co-Founder of NOMORE
